Her people-first approach to leadership and business, as well as her innovation, agility, optimism, and integrity, have helped her to build high performing teams who expertly balance striving for excellence and continual improvement while maintaining confidence and accomplishment.
As a leader, coach, and mentor, she is known for helping people tackle difficult decisions and truths through empathy and perspective. Focusing on empowerment and accountability, she has coached dozens of individuals through career and skill development, promotions, credentials, and personal growth. She has an uncanny ability to see people’s strengths, translate skills across contexts, and build confidence, moving people forward toward their goals.
Tara earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with specific focus on helping individuals, teams, and organizations perform to their highest potential while maintaining a culture of respect, fairness, empathy, and collaboration. She is a certified coach, senior HR professional, and credentialing professional.
In her spare time, Tara volunteers, reads, and writes. Having grown up in Alaska, she and her husband enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Their son has taken up the rock-climbing torch and quickly far outpaced them in skill!
